Have You Ever Had A Glass-Top Dining Table. If So Can You Relate To This Photo?

Longpatrol · 31-35, M
I had one, it just shattered by itself one night and blasted glass all over my living room. Had to toss my cat into my bedroom to keep her from eating the damn shards.

*She was a cute but hopeless moron*

@Longpatrol wow, trying to eat glass shards. I had a glass plate one time and put some food on it to reheat in the microwave. Got my food and sat down to eat and then the plate, which I left on the kitchen counter shattered. My parakeet was scared and I told her it was OK, it was breaking glass. Next day I was in the kitchen doing something and she yelled “Breaking glass” like she was warning me.

@cherokeepatti Smart one your parakeet

@Longpatrol She didn’t start talking till her mate died. She had a tall cage and would watch me in the kitchen and ask questions about what I was cooking or fixing or whatever and I would tell her and show her my food on the plate telling her what each one was. I interacted with her as much as I could after she started talking.
Food taste better with guilt written all over it apparently 😂

@DrScissorhands a lady tried to give me two chihuahua puppies. They were always begging for food even though I fed them good. Was afraid they would get diarrhea or something if I fed them very much more. I’d take them out into the back yard to play and watching them digging around and catching and eating roly-poly bugs…always wanting to eat something. I had to give them back, couldn’t keep up with them. And chihuahuas wouldn’t be my first choice for a dog if I got one. I’d get a poodle for a little dog or a golden retriever if I wanted a bigger one.
@cherokeepatti That's what I was afraid of. Spirited little things

@DrScissorhands chihuahuas are hard to house-break and two of them even harder. I think that’s why the lady was trying to give them to me, she also threw in a large cage, toys, pet food etc. And I know those puppies were not cheap. I gave them back to her. I was retired and home all day, you could take them out to use the bathroom several times a day and have them sleep in that crate to take naps but they’d come inside after being out for quite a while and then take a dump. Can’t handle cleaning up after them all day long after spending so much time taking them outside. Poodles are supposed to be the easiest ones to housebreak. We had one from a puppy and it seemed very easy. She might have had one accident total.

Oh yes! And I do have two of them in this crowded tiny apartment. One is my coffee table! 😀

My cat often does that! Yet she also likes looking at herself in the bathroom mirror. 😁

How could you?
I would have fed him before eating. Else would feel so guilty 😀🙂
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@WandererTony Not my table and not my dog.

I've seen dogs on Instagram and they lick the underside of the table to try and get the food
