Do you think youre a good friend?

My friends describe me as...
"I'm sorry, he's not usually like this."

I’m the friend you might not see for months but when we meet up, it’s like no time has passed.

So… I can be. But my ability to be a good friend is largely dependent on how invested I am in the friendship. And there are very, very few people these days whose friendship I truly get invested in. So this is not a side of me most people ever get to know anymore.

No. I'm currently not able to be a good friend but I'm working on myself.

I know my faults, but I’m a great listener who’s fairly intuitive, a protector, a cheerleader when needed, have an unlimited arsenal filled with stupidity and ridiculousness that’ll make them laugh until their stomach hurts, and am extremely loyal…too loyal to those who’ve given me plenty of reasons to walk away. Plus I always have gum. The true staple of being a good friend.

For the most part, yes. I do go MIA sometimes and not sure if that upsets my friends.

I am not good at reaching out. But if you are my friend, we pick up right where we left off.

I'm pretty useless with other people, on here I do my utmost to be the kind of person I ought to be, and for the most part achieve but to the lowest acceptable plain.

Yes but I’ve had to cut most of them out for my own mental health.

I think it's possibly presumptuous for me to try to make that kind of assessment, that it's really only something the friend on the other side of the connection could actually decide, from their perspective
