I eat only the contents of the tail.

Some years ago, the village pub served a "Pint o' Prawns" with crusty bread. They were whole cooked prawns served in a beer tankard.

I buy (frozen) raw jumbo prawns which have been peeled. I like to cook them in a pan with garlic and parsley.
I defrost some overnight, or if I am in a hurry or have forgotten, I defrost in the microwave before cooking them

I won’t eat them with tails or anything else on. In fact I only eat ready prepared and cooked prawns and only crab meat.

The tails are the only part of a shrimp to eat.
