@Dlrannie it’s hard to argue with your conclusions
TheSirfurryanimalWales · 61-69, M
@Dlrannie didn't see this before I put my answer😅
Well I'm going to be chased off here but I enjoyed it. As well as full time work I study so a Saturday spent doing coursework I watched the Coronation on breaks I gave myself, I really do think it is a core part of the Country.
I haven't seen all of it but hope they did more to make it inclusive to modern Britain and the Commonwealth as a whole.

@WandererTony when he dumped Diana for that ugly old thing it was like throwing away a cherry and grabbing a bit of pig dung
WandererTony · 56-60, M
@Flossie yes it was a sad day. End of the fairytale. I still cannot but blame him for her demise.
@WandererTony 🤣🤣🤣

Anything in the world. Paint drying. I do not support the Monarchy. I say do away with it.

@Nimbus Nothing wrong with stargazing.......
Nimbus · M
@BritishFailedAesthetic Yes, contemplation and/or meditation have their merits :)
@Nimbus To watch Billions of years of Natural history is great. To look at Pleaides and know it was around at the time of the dinosaurs and to know the light we see through our eyes left the star when the Protestant reformation was a new thing is incredible to me.
Understand it's not everyone's cup of tea though.

Well the last Royal event was Queen E's funeral. She was the only one I sort of liked. The rest can go suck a sceptre.
Nimbus · M
@Longpatrol Sounds painful ;)

@Nimbus Hope it is at any rate. You can watch them all gumming on William's bald head.
Midnightoker1 · 61-69, M
Almost eveything I can think of is more interesting than watching an old man get a gold hat to wear. I
smiler2012 · 56-60

Just about anything
What can be interesting on putting a crown on the head of an old fool, that cheated on his lovely, caring wife with Camilla the Gorilla?
@Thewhazzupdude I don't remember Diana. But I've seen artcles saying Camilla Parker Bowles is the real power behind the throne. Someone described her as Lady Macbeth.
PoetryNEmotion · F
@Thewhazzupdude A cheating parasite. And his homely whore. They are disgusting.
PoetryNEmotion · F
@jackieash27 Diana had class. She was intelligent. Cared about people. Her charity work was extensive. The land mines especially. Camilla is a twat.

I don't think we're allowed to make TV for us. It's supposed to serve the King and the owners of the corporation.
Nimbus · M
@Roundandroundwego BBC TV licence payers have to pay £159 per year for the likes of this.
@Nimbus Well we can both at least agree to scrap the license fee!
Roundandroundwego · 61-69
@BritishFailedAesthetic I think Americans agree that government funding of media would be dangerous for the corporations who control us now. They're paying the fee of helplessness with endless wars and inequality.
BeJeweled · F
I didnt watch it but read articles about it but they were mostly about Harry! 😆
