I don’t care for most beer, never have. The closest I come is with a Belgian Ale called Piraat, that a poster here recommended. It’s really smooth, but with 10.5% alcohol, it’s got quite a kick.
@bijouxbroussard That is a great beer. Have you tried Gulden Draak?

@bijouxbroussard you might also like Duvel then, it is only 8.5% ABV, and if you don't mind a California version of it, North Coast Pranqster is only 7.6% ABV (if you're ever in coastal Mendocino County, North Coast has a taproom on the PCH ... the former brewmaster is from the Bay Area and has recently opened his own brewery in the same small town as well, I forget the name though)
oh it changes acroos the year, and what I might be eating GENERALLY if it is cool or cold i like my stouts and browns and porters as the weather get warm, I move to a range of pilsners lagers and and kolschs really hot? the better mexican bears,,or a clear wheet not ALWAYS from a small brewer but mostly
I actually prefer ale, and Smithwick's when available. Favorite beet is Stella Artois. But it is really a moot question these days since I have to forgo alcohol because of the meds I'm on.
@dancingtongue Definitely worth trying (they actually sell online, so not as difficult to get as one might think). Outrageous as it may sound, their ESB (unforetunately a seasonal) is probably the best ESB I've ever had.
@basilfawlty89 finally talking sense. Just put like two ice cubes unless you try raki, then drink it straight. And sometime you should try rakomelo too.
Well I don't drink anymore but when I did it was Bull Max. Bull Max Had one of the highest alcohol content it was one of the least expensive beers. So it was like a win win thing.Cheers!
It would be impossible to choose just one, there are too many different styles ... but some of mine include:
