Question about apple pie

So when we where having our apple pie, Grandma brought out a pack of cheddar cheese to put on the pie.

Joel, our oldest, and Grandma put some on their pie but no one else did. It just didn't seem right....

Is this a thing.....

Think of a cheese plate. Cheese is delicious with fruit like grapes or apples.

It's definitely a thing. It really comes down to your personal taste. I prefer mine plain though, but that is just me.
