i can't eat Hot'n'Spicy stuff at all , so Taco Bell NEVER !!! but nowadays one has to be careful i was very let down by a KFC place it was Horrible , the Gravy wasn't the Original Gravy we came to know at all , it was some watery beef gravy , wtf ! next the coleslaw it was literally white cabbage slice up with lots of mayo , not the good fine green coleslaw we like from KFC , and the chicken was too dried out and the fries stiff uugghh ! it was terrible ! , a nightmare ! , one of their meal pack deals
I might get a hamburger plain from McDonalds if I'm traveling or can't cook. I used to get a bean burrito from Taco Bell every once in awhile but now I make my own. It's cheaper and better.
Any of the Sheri's,Dennys,Applebee's type places. They're all too generic. I'm pretty sure I'm still banned from Waffle House nationwide so that's out of the question..
@blackdiamonds Way way way back before cell phones,televisions and even cars I was in the Army Lets just say it involved a few Georgia Hillbilly types, Several Asians. Including one transsexual. The M.P.s from Fort Stewert. And the Liberty County Sheriffs department.
@blackdiamonds A brawl it was. Thrown in jail briefly. All of us piled in the 2 drunk tanks. Hillbillies, Soldiers, Asian guys. Sore,bleeding,laughing, First Sergeant came and said he was going to leave us all in there to rot. Be counted as AWOL the next morning. Came back an hour later and bailed us out.
Waffle House. Just bland and tasteless food. And why is it whenever you pass a Waffle house, there's like two cars in the parking lot, and one guy at the counter, I mean, do all the employees walk to work? 🤷♂️
Hardees. No matter where you are in line, what time of day you visit, or what you order, it's always the slowest service and the greasiest food. No, adding more oil to your honey mustard/mayo blend doesn't make it taste better.
Cutillos in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. A nice restaurant, ordered broiled scallops and had gotten shark meat cut in circles (flakes the wrong way) as i grew up on seafood I realized what I was eating,. Have spoken poorly of them ever since. For the "nice " restaurant it was, it'd be helpfulmif the knew what they were serving, and charge accordingly.
@originnone glad you were satisfied there. Hard to screw up pizza. Was young, newly married, new to the area and saw the billboards that said "a restaurant with a view"
I rarely go out to eat anymore. If i do its probably a locally owned mom n pops store and they have a diner in back. . . Fast food like mcdonalds or that mess. . Ill pass.
@samueltyler2 I didn't get sick, but I didn't care for the taste or texture. Lynn doesn't eat sushi, either, so we aren't tempted to visit those places.
@exexec as they say: that is what makes show biz, we love sushi. We enjoy both the regular raw fish sushi/sushimi, and also the vegetarian dishes, as in sweet potato sushi, which is marvelous.
