Do you get Maltesers where you are?

When I treat myself to Maltesers, I buy a bucket load.😎

Don't have those, but we have Whoppers, which I've heard are quite similar. :)

Yes, there is a small British food section in the grocery store here, and I have gotten them. They are better than Whoppers.

In the US they're called Whoppers.

Here they are called malted milk balls. The brand I used to get at a Saturday matinee movie when I was a kid were Whoppers. Haven't had any in about 60 years.

Yes, I get buy it here but the chocolate layer is less concentrated and more sweet and light in color instead 🤢

With everybody saying they're the same thing as Whoppers, I Googled it. Maltesers are in fact the ancestors of Whoppers. They were put out by the Mars company in the UK, and then gradually introduced in the US. But where Maltesers have remained the same size, Whoppers have shrunk. Also, Maltesers have a shiny finish, whereas Whoppers have a matte finish.

So there's the difference, peeps. Maltesers are bigger and shinier.
