@SunshineGirl I never knew that...I mean about the Cornish folk. I think in Australia we tend to put the jam on first....probably influenced by the influx of Cornish Miners, and most use whipped cream not clotted. Bloody heathens. I have had the authentic stuff.......in Devon. ❤

@KiwiBird It all comes down to logic and aesthetics . . everything is likely to stay in p!ace with a solid foundation of cream. The Cornish mainly sided with the Royalists during the English Civil War, so I think they have more of a devil-may-care view of life 😩
