A 16 year old is too young to get a tattoo, don't you agree?

They need to wait 2 years. Why are they so mad? Tattoos are for criminals anyway. Of course they will agree with what their best friend say. I don't care though. My opinion. I don't have tattoos.

Add me on facebook if you want.

4 of my kids got their first tatoos (respectable ones) at 16/17 paid for with earnings from their part time jobs. My youngest doesn’t want one. (Board of health approved tatoo artist/parlour only)

I don’t mind respectable tatoos and piercings. It’s an expression of ones self. I would mind though if they were not doing well in school, hanging out with the wrong crowd, and doing stuff they shouldn’t. As a parent I pick my battles
Definitely. Any 25 year old is gonna be pissed at anything their dipshit 16 year old self thinks is cool enough to put on themselves forever. Also, a 40 year old is probably gonna feel the same way about the 25.

Well, they have gender theory bullshit being promoted by perverts and paedophiles dressed in drag reading to children

I think it would be great if there was a tattoo that could completely fade after being on the skin for two years.

Lol. The attitude towards tattoos has changed a lot where it's cool to have them. My 18-year old nephew has gotten close to a dozen by now.

But I agree, it's better to wait to be of legal age, where the person can be held accountable in case he or she makes a really bad decision of the design or tattoo site.

I think eighty is too young to get a tatoo.

I certainly wouldn't allow my teenager to get tatted. But others can raise their children however they would like. 10 year old girls are putting on fake eye lashes and makeup. Wouldn't allow my child to do it but I dont care what other people do.

Getting one is not a decision to make lightly. Unless someone is already covered then it don't matter.
I would say if someone is going to get one, they should at least go to a good artist and not just some guy at the bar that does them real cheap.

Honesty I don't see a problem with it. I'm my 50s and I have no tattoos

But in other parts of the world, children are being tattooed. For example people in tribes, even in the USA there are a few american Indian tribes that tatoo their young

I leave that choice up to the parent and not the government

The government is way too invasive in our lives now
@HumanEarth There are lots of things that are cultural in other places that Western countries have decided to pass on. Waiting two years is the difference in lots of decisions minors have been determined as not mature enough to make. Although personally, I think that my country’s ruling is ridiculous that 18 years is old enough to serve in the military but not to have a beer… 🤨

@bijouxbroussard

Right and I hear you
You can die and kill for your country, but you cant have a beer

Glad I am older, I was drinking in the bar at 18
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with waiting until one is 18. If getting a tattoo is the right thing for a person to do, it’ll still be so in two years.

I think tattoos are discusgong. I know it is a form of expression. I don’t like them on men nor do I like them on women. Why would a beautiful creature mark their bodies with a thing called skin art. ?

Waste of time and money, not to mention what they will look like in 25 years.
It depends on the tattoo
