Is wearing shorts outside in the winter still a thing? I don't get out much anymore...

We don't have bad winters, so I see shorts most days. I wait until it hits 70 degrees, like today when it's in the 80's. I see some men on the golf course in shorts when it's in the 40's.

I think there's a cutoff age; I don't think I've seen anyone over 40 doing it.
