Sorta, my sister's best friend in uni was the sister of a canadian politician for the Kawartha Lakes area.

closest ive got was sister when out the brother of a guy who was in semi-succesful band; 'Kenisis'.
i was a bit starstruck but i managed to get him to come to the pub with me and my friends. i think he ordered a baileys lol.

I am related to a celebrity...he's the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for a well known rock band.

Closest I ever got was when an ancestor was the maid for a queen in Sweden. lol
