Be the biological parent.
Overall, I'd prefer to have a great kid, no matter where they came from. That's first overall.
But secondly, I'd prefer to be the biological parent, simply from the aspect of knowing their medical background, and knowing what things they might go through and being able to help prepare them for medical situations that they might be more likely to run into.
Sadly, I've seen too many adopted children that have been abused in some form and that abuse stays with them, and they might continue it to their siblings or onto others, or themselves. And when you know the issue, sometimes you can the situation, but also there can be some unknown items that are extremely hard if not impossible to figure out.
Of course, I also know some adopted children that have grown up to be my idols and what I truly hope to be when/if I get to be their age as they're absolutely amazing people and have all their sh!t together.
Once again, I would just want a great kid no matter where they came from. But I also think knowing their background and family history certainly can help learning about their potential future struggles.

I dont want kids , however , if I ever change my mind , I rather adopt. I have really bad food allergies and have an chronic ilness , I wouldnt want to burden an child with that just in case it could be gentic. Theres too many children in this world who are waiting for forever homes but never do get adopted. If I find it isnt gentic then maybe I would consider both but I cant really say right now. Child birth does freak me out because it can cause complications and pain , I dont really know if I could risk that.

When we had to take a call, both of us were ready to adopt in case we had any health complications. My better half was going through some health issues and we were both concerned about the impact it would have on her and the child.
Finally we decided to have a child as biological parents

I wanted to experience child birth. I would not trade it for the world there's nothing more powerful to me than giving a life. If i haven't done anything else right in this lifetime having my 2 princesses has made it all worth it.

Biological, but two of our grandchildren are adopted and it's fine.

Wherever possible by biological methods.
Reasons are most because of the medical genetics.
Say you have adopted kids, you don't have the same genetics. What happens if you need a blood transfusion? That happens all the time. Yet even more, what if they need a kidney or liver?
Then there's medical histories. What are they prone to? 🤷🏻♂
A known medical history is so much easier than a unknown medical history. You can take preventative measures.

That ship has pretty much sailed now. I lost my only child and never had another. 😞

I would have happily adopted but it’s complicated and expensive.. actually i would have been happy to have step children but they were hateful like their mother and in 20 years I've never even met them..

It's always been my plan and dream to have 10 daughters to 10 different men from 10 different countries. I want to be the biological mother of them all. If I have a son I'd have an abortion or put it up for adoption

Amazon! They're return policy is excellent!
I'd have preferred biological children... but that's not going to happen for me - at least, not without medical help.

If you ask most adopted kids, they will probably Tell you they wished they were not adopted
