Is it wierd to buy my daughters boyfriend a coat?

He has come from overseas and looks cold. He thought Australia would be warm .
allygator18 · 22-25, F

No, it is not.
@allygator18 I see the problem.
The matrix equation near the bottom - someone forgot to close the square brackets!
allygator18 · 22-25, F
@ElwoodBlues not necessary as the result of the matrix is null
eMortal · M
No but give the money to your daughter. Let her do it. Don’t outshine her.
GinPanda · 26-30, F
A coat is sweet and thoughtful
Matt85 · 36-40, M
No, that is a nice gesture.
No not at all. I was in the reverse situation as a young Aussie living abroad seeing snow for the first time and having no clue how to dress. My boyfriend at the time’s parents were so lovely to me and bought me some clothes. I still wear a ring his mum gave me. People always remember that kind of kindness.
CultOfPersonality · 36-40, M
No that’s a decent present
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Nope. I've had to bail out my Niece's boyfriend like this a couple of times. Mind you my niece is just as dopey and needs the occasional help too.

Not as WEIRD as it is to spell words with the letters in the wrong order.
ineedadrink · 51-55, M
It gets cold in Australia? I thought it was either warm or hot all the time.
DiegoWolfe · 36-40
yeah NO it is not at all strange or weird, you are a good momma
TexChik · F
Of course not.
Juvia · 18-21, F
My mother buys mine lots of clothes.
He's like a ken doll. 😩I wanna dress him up and do some hanky panky
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Not at all. Not much different than putting him up at your place if he is staying there.
VampireOfDesire · 26-30, M
I think its worse if you were removing the clothes not adding them
ThunderbirdR6 · 36-40, F
no it isnt
you are sweet
i would do the same for my sons girlfriend
Convivial · 26-30, F
Kind of sad that you even have to think that about doing a good deed..
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Ask him if he would be insulted if you bought it for him.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
He can't afford a coat himself? Then, sure, get him something.
Gangstress · 41-45, F
Not at all. My parents often buy my partner clothes randomly lol 😆
SW-User

novaguy2u · 70-79, M

Monalisaa1986 · 36-40, F
Ask your daughter if it is ok
lumberjackslam · 41-45, M
🤔 it's wintertime?
SW-User
Just throw another Shimp on the BBQ.

If he thinks it is cold now, give it 2 months and it will freeze his balls off
