Did you ever have an imaginary friend?

Iris has an imaginary book store. It also sells popcorn and tires on the weekends. But mostly books. Sammy and Pammy own it but Pammy is missing ever since an unfortunate incident that took place at Food Lion. I still don’t have all the details on that but we can all rest assured that she isn’t dead.

I’ll let you know more as new fascinating details emerge.

Everybody be quiet, my shows on. I wanna know what happened to Pammy.

Also, hell yeah, I had a few. My cousin who was 6 years older used to pretend to see them too lol.
There was moon, sugar, two self titled characters, one was a mute, the other was evil and then there were unnamed aliens that lived in the unused boxes at my cousin's house. I always imagined sugar to kinda look like crash bandicoot. Did you?

@HijabaDabbaDoo I’ll have to ask my dad. I don’t remember what I called them lol.

I miss the big kid imagination. I’m so boring now lmao
@SwampFlower please do, because I know iris didn't stumble across Sammy and Pammy by accident

Please, you're not boring. I don't talk to boring people

@HijabaDabbaDoo I never met them but I have no idea what her cousins are showing her on TV lmao

That's really stinkin cute. Sounds like she's talking so much...is she 3 yet?

I did, her name was lucie (my name lol). We called her lucie ghost and I imagine my mom came up with the ghost part but can't say for sure

@Notsimilarreally There is really a huge spectrum of normal for this age when it comes to language development. Your little guy sounds right on track.

I think it makes a difference that Iris has been going to a language immersion program two days a week since she was 15 months old and is around a LOT of different people. She hears a lot of stories lol.

@SwampFlower totally! It's amazing. Good for her, she will be well socialized. I have not socialized him enough yet but we are starting to do more as of late 😊

@Notsimilarreally does he enjoy being around other babies? Iris gets SO excited any time we see a random kid when our and about lol

No, but my sister did and also my daughter. My daughter played teacups with them. Glad she has a sister.

As someone who has caught a flat at a bookstore, this place has everything I need!

Besides my 23 stuffed animals who all had distinctive personalities? Yeah a few.
I think this place is.

That kid is a hoot. A storyteller like your aunt you mentioned some time ago.
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
@ineedadrink Aw, you are so right! Iris was so young when she passed but I can definitely see the similarities in their personalities now.

It means a lot that you remembered those stories, too. 💜
