Did you ever have an imaginary friend?

Iris has an imaginary book store. It also sells popcorn and tires on the weekends. But mostly books. Sammy and Pammy own it but Pammy is missing ever since an unfortunate incident that took place at Food Lion. I still don’t have all the details on that but we can all rest assured that she isn’t dead.

I’ll let you know more as new fascinating details emerge.

That's really stinkin cute. Sounds like she's talking so much...is she 3 yet?

I did, her name was lucie (my name lol). We called her lucie ghost and I imagine my mom came up with the ghost part but can't say for sure

@SwampFlower that's what I say about my boy. His dad is smart in many ways.
He talks quite a bit but not clearly. I met a 2.5 yo the other day that spoke like an adult and I was floored. Then, there are kids that say nothing at his age so, I'm happy with his jibber jabber. Might just be a lisp. He's doing good but not making up any stories yet.

@Notsimilarreally There is really a huge spectrum of normal for this age when it comes to language development. Your little guy sounds right on track.

I think it makes a difference that Iris has been going to a language immersion program two days a week since she was 15 months old and is around a LOT of different people. She hears a lot of stories lol.

@SwampFlower totally! It's amazing. Good for her, she will be well socialized. I have not socialized him enough yet but we are starting to do more as of late 😊

@Notsimilarreally does he enjoy being around other babies? Iris gets SO excited any time we see a random kid when our and about lol
