Men can't be trusted with babies 馃槓

SW-User

Some men get distracted playing video games and forget about the baby , that鈥檚 why I鈥檓 a bit afraid to leave my future baby with millennial men they have too many distractions, smartphone , video games, etc. And believe me, men can鈥檛 multitask like we women 馃槀 .
Notsimilarreally31-35, F
@deadteddy THIS! I left the room for two minutes yesterday, come back and the baby had rolled himself face in between the pillows and dad's glued to his phone didn't even notice 馃槶
deadteddy26-30, F
@Notsimilarreally Oh my, what a scare! He needs to be paying attention; especially during the first 6 months, those are the months the baby is just trying to survive life.
HannahSkyF
@deadteddy holy shit
Repete61-69, M
I raised my daughter as a single parent she鈥檚 turned out ok.
Should have been my wife and I as a team but we couldn鈥檛 .

Categories gets people in trouble without them even having a chance, a babies life isn鈥檛 something you leave to chance but there are a lot of good dads as well as good moms and bad ones either way.

Just my opinion.

A woman who is a mother along the (base)lines of a Norland nanny, or similar, is undeniably an indispensable asset. No question there. Especially in a fundamentally ideal, two parent (mother and father, to be clear) set up. Yet how many women are of that ilk nowadays, whether as a matter of inherent instinct or self-actualizing ambition?

But mothering instincts and biological predispositions have been socially engineered out of women to the point that you're left with incompetent, parentally tone deaf, defeminized incubators.

Brainwashed zombies abound, who'd sooner outsource child rearing to day care industries (with their own agendas). Just in order to prostrate themselves infront of capitalist corporate slave masters for pennies on the dollar (in the name of "gender equality" lol) and among whom many actually believe formula feeding is better than a nourishment process they are designed to reflexively carry out by nature!

Under this modern status quo it's no surprise to read:

a raft of statistics upon which i believe your commendable case rests. Well done to you and may your kids continue to prosper.

I saw this doco about 3 men raising a baby... They did quite well馃
Sidewinder36-40, M
@Convivial The movie Three Men and a Baby, right?
Convivial26-30, F
@Sidewinder you're quick..
Sidewinder36-40, M
@Convivial It wasn't a documentary, but a comedy starring Steve Guttenberg, (best known for Police Academy) Ted Danson (Cheers) and Tom Selleck. (Magnum P.I.) and directed by Leonard Nimoy. (best known as Spock in Star Trek)

It was the1987 remake of the 1985 French film, Trois Hommes 茅t un Couffin. (Three Men and a Cradle)

Three Men and a Baby is centered around a trio of bachelors who's lives get turned upside down when a baby girl ends up on the doorstep of their shared flat.

There was even a sequel in 1991 called Three Men and a Little Lady.

With the amount of times I've dropped my phone, I'm always surprised when someone hands me their baby
SW-User

@SW-User @SW-User exactly.

Nitedoc51-55, M

@DunningKruger that so sweet 馃槏
ElRengo70-79, M
Are you serious?
ElRengo70-79, M
@ElRengo
Well, some men (half?) can麓t.
Some women (half?) neither.
Some men and women can.
Notsimilarreally31-35, F
@ElRengo women were made for it. Men don't have the same instincts. That's not to say all men are bad with babies. It's just the science behind why women are better.
ElRengo70-79, M
@Notsimilarreally
Of course, there is some true in what you say, but not really the wider scientific view about.
Thre is an evolutive (biologic / social) history of our species that shows father麓s increasing involvement in kids. Is part of what leaded our humanization.
Insticts.......is a concept that needed some serious update since was coined.
We know better since then.
Zeusdelight61-69, M
Ah, where would SW be without stereotypes?
I don't know about that, I would never hurt a child
SStarfish
No more or less than women
Mine are alive and well
ineedadrink51-55, M
I did alright.
NathanielS31-35, M
I would鈥檝e agreed about myself when I was in my 20s (probably why my sisters didn鈥檛 necessarily want me to be the only one watching their kids) but I鈥檝e matured since then (I like to think). 馃
GuyWithOpinions31-35, M
Maybe its just this one man with this baby.
SweetP22-25, M
Babies have more fun with Dads
Notsimilarreally31-35, F

Not true! Some of us absolutely can be trusted with a baby! And even a few of us, more than 15 minutes!
