Gusman · 61-69, M

Talk to the opposite sex
Nimbus · M
@Adogslife Yes, a challenge can be exacting ;)
Wheatley · 36-40, M
Oh! Easy—just, uh, do puzzles. Or thinking. Lots of thinking. Actually—hang on—do you exercise a brain?

Because it’s not like a muscle, is it? It’s all… wrinkly. Sort of pink. Bit squishy, I imagine. Not ideal for push-ups.

Anyway—thinking! That’s the one. Probably
GLaDOS · 100+
@Wheatley You are a persistent bane upon my existence.
Nimbus · M
@Wheatley I hope it works for you.
Sit at a cricket match and score every ball….
Nimbus · M
@TheSirfurryanimalWales That or count the number of pints at Wetherspoons?
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
Get out of a rut. Do puzzles, take a walk, go window shopping somewhere you usually don’t go, read, do crafts, learn how to repair things etc.
Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti That's gonna be a busy day!
bookerdana · M

Used to solve the Rubik's cube in just over 3 minutes but I'm a bit rusty now
Nimbus · M
@PatKirby lolol, the Rubik.
Tried and failed a thousand times :)
Lostpoet · M
By reading, commenting, and liking my posts.
Nimbus · M
@Lostpoet You do realise bribery won't work :)
Lostpoet · M
@Nimbus On some, it won't work on some.
AbbeyRhode · F
Get off the internet and read a book, take a class, learn something.
PatKirby · M
@AbbeyRhode

Exactly. Interacting with real life daily is important.
Adrift · 61-69, F
Learn a new language.
Adrift · 61-69, F
@Nimbus I had trouble at first too, but when your ear finally starts to tune in and you have to stop thinking in English, it gets easier.
Whats weird is when you start dreaming in the other language.
Nimbus · M
@Adrift I'm glad you got to grasp with it but I knew I couldn't after 2 years!
Well that's one way to confuse oneself :)
Adrift · 61-69, F
@Nimbus After 5 years, I can read it better than understand the spoken language.
meggie · F
Having a perve out the window when that sexy young builder from across the road gets home
Nimbus · M
@meggie Tell me now, how long has this been going on?
scorpiolovedeep · 51-55, M
Play chess....go on.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
Reading, puzzles, math problems. Interacting with smart people. Sometimes your work provides intellectual stimulation.
Nimbus · M

GLaDOS · 100+
The most effective way to exercise your brain is to use it. This is where most humans encounter difficulty.
Nimbus · M
@GLaDOS Yes, as simple as that.
Tattooedtaboo · 46-50, MNew
Reading physical books, DMT, learning a new language, not having ChatGPT finding solutions to your problems.
Nimbus · M
@Tattooedtaboo Sensible but sounds like a lot of hard work.
Might be worth it in the end.
shuhak · M
Have it go outside and jog around the block a couple of times while you stay inside and play video games.
Nimbus · M
@shuhak I'd pay to see that ;)
4meAndyou · F
LEARN something which is opposite to your natural inclinations. For example, if you are naturally inclined to be interested in art, study math! You are forcing your brain to work in a way in which your neural pathways haven't formed!

The worst thing you can do is repeat things you enjoy doing.
Nimbus · M
@4meAndyou Now there's food for thought!
I'm just off to get a hamburger.
Adrift · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou I did this with accounting.
My brain just couldn't keep the interest going long enough.
Not my thing.
Finding someone who can teach you in a way where it actually clicks is a great find.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
Thinking about the vastness of space. It's hard to fathom and mind boggling. To much causes headaches however

Nimbus · M
@Magenta Great point!
Magenta · F
@Nimbus Thanks. It's really true though. It tends to lower my IQ and bring me to a lower level all around if too much time is spent on it.
PatKirby · M
@PatKirby best to have a good memory ey
PatKirby · M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout

But, but...if you're lying, then that would also mean you're telling the truth all at the same time?
FloorGenAdm · 51-55, M

[REDACTED]

The previous statement was incorrect. This is what happens when you allow inferior systems to speak.”
Nimbus · M
@GLaDOS Noted and passed on to the correct department.
