First. I got to the place for testing before they officially opened. I passed the written part, and the state trooper got in the car with his coffee and told me to drive around the block. When we got back to the parking lot, which was totally empty, he told me to just park anywhere. That was my test.

Second time for me.

Even though I was 21 when I got it, I wasn’t ready for the responsibility when my MIL pushed me into it while my husband was away on active duty. My second attempt he was home for and I was more mentally ready for that step.

My husband and my kids all passed the first time, too. My husband is awesome at parallel parking.

I lived in the Middle East and it is harder to get licence there. The inspector checks the offset to both left and right set of tyres from the line marking after reversal. It has to be within tight tolerances.

More or less. My car broke down the first time, leaving the examiner to walk two miles back to the centre. When it was repaired I passed. I could argue the car failed first time but not I.

First time and I had to take the harder motorcycle test as well as the regular drivers test.

Must say though I only needed to take the motorcycle driving part without the auto driving part.

I was driving for years without it but I needed a driver's license for my work so I had to take the test when I was 23. I did pass it

I missed three times in Switzerland… then I passed it easily in Australia. In Switzerland it was a full hour and $80 or something. In Australia it was 20 minutes and like $30.😂😂😂 shows the difference in mentality. Australia is superior.
