Parts of Trenton are really bad / no go zones. Mostly gang controled. . I have been to kensington philadelphia alone at night a few times but that was probably a bad idea. The neighboring town is Fishtown and lots of residents have pitpulls for protection at night --which is heart warming since most of those dogs got rescued

Seems like the old downtown area here is for me. You see all sorts of things when you drive through on Main Street and on the side streets too. Wasn’t like this even 3 years ago. The problems are multiplying now.

@robertsnj I have my opinion. I was a weapons man in the USAF. I don't feel gun control is the answer. It is a spiritual problem. Gun control just doesn't help the problem.

Yes not far from me is an area that used to be a thriving shopping town and a nice place to go. Now many of the shops have shut and it is full of pickpockets, foreigners carrying knives (meat clevers and swords sometimes too), beggars and drug dealers. There is a constant police presence there, but you don't feel safe

well my brothers friend was stabbed right outside my front door last year. and there's crime in my immediate area all the time so i guess anywhere outside of my house is a no go area.
