Camden New Jersey is near me. I had a friend who drove their for a business meeting years ago--got lost and had to pay a taxi driver a fare to follow him to the city limits.

Parts of Trenton are really bad / no go zones. Mostly gang controled. . I have been to kensington philadelphia alone at night a few times but that was probably a bad idea. The neighboring town is Fishtown and lots of residents have pitpulls for protection at night --which is heart warming since most of those dogs got rescued

I almost maced in Kensingtonwas jogging to meet a friend at a local establishment and a resisdent who thought I was charging them and whipped out their chemical spray. I was convince him quick enough that i was just jogging and meant the no harm. I did get the[quote] "white boy why the hell are you jogging at night in Kensington look" [/quote]

No. I suppose there might be a couple of shady bars in Oslo but that's over an hour's drive away.

Seems like the old downtown area here is for me. You see all sorts of things when you drive through on Main Street and on the side streets too. Wasn’t like this even 3 years ago. The problems are multiplying now.

Yes not far from me is an area that used to be a thriving shopping town and a nice place to go. Now many of the shops have shut and it is full of pickpockets, foreigners carrying knives (meat clevers and swords sometimes too), beggars and drug dealers. There is a constant police presence there, but you don't feel safe

It's nowhere near me, but I think for Americans, North Korea should be on that list...

@robertsnj I have my opinion. I was a weapons man in the USAF. I don't feel gun control is the answer. It is a spiritual problem. Gun control just doesn't help the problem.

well my brothers friend was stabbed right outside my front door last year. and there's crime in my immediate area all the time so i guess anywhere outside of my house is a no go area.

Absolutely. Some areas are just too crime ridden, dope infested, not safe to park your car, that it would be ridiculous to go to.
