EP felt like a smarter community

It’s really not new anymore

Yes it felt like you could really say how you feel, I even made friends with a girl from Ep and we would talk on the phone all the time. Now I get judged and bashed for venting on here. I think someone even hacked me after one of my post because they didn’t agree with me. I just notice my phone started glitching, and doing weird things and running slow. I had to change all my passwords. Then the next time I posted it was like I was shadow banned.

but then again - society has gotten meaner too

I'm from EP, This place is okay. Furthermore, I am the Daffy Duck of SW.

I am the quintessential screwball of Similar Worlds. Plus I have an ego to match my outlandish schemes, I have the ultimate plan to foil everyone's else cool cucumber routine, I'm always striving for the spotlight and I always end up with the short end of the stick.

It's a nice place, but definitely different vibe. On EP you could meet people and have polite, civil discussion - even if you were different. You could learn about different perspectives, other than you own. You could make friends, even if only online pen pals, so to speak. SW has a lot of nice people. But don't really see much in the way of discussion. There also seems to be quite a few trolls here on SW. And politics.... oh my God......

I am only here because of EP, but the difference is... this place is Similar, but not the EP experience

It’s ok. But I was in a different mindset then so I enjoyed interactions on EP. Now, I feel I have grown old and I don’t feel the need to interact more 😬

Different layout, same purpose. I only regret that my EP experience was short and I didn't get to find my old friends from there over here.

EP was better I think. This one is okay. I don't know why someone doesn't launch a new version of EP. I don't have the time or commitment it would take.

I wouldn't be surprised if majority of us was.

The old one was ofcourse superior in every way

This "new website" is nearly 8 years old now. I certainly wasn't on EP for that long.

Hello, I am from the old EP site, and since EP shut down, we had no choice but to come here and it is better than nothing at all.

EP is a good recall but SW isn't bad either

Quieter, more contained, not as populated, but whether that's for the best is up for you to decide.

EP was a lot better, but I’m still hanging around here now and then, trying to make it work.

I was there. came here then. I was on there like a year before it ended. I was same username.

EP was a friendlier place with many more decent people.
