[i][c=BF0080]Hispanic mostly, Greek, Indian(in person they usually say I resemble a certain area but I don’t remember), part Asian specifically said a few times and a very young child thought I was her mom once who I later saw appeared half Asian, Arab and I’m sure more that I can’t think of. Many strangers from other countries have in person came up to me and asked if I was European. [/c][/i]

Majority (especially folks from North America continent) believe that I am a Latino (Mexican or Cuban).😇

When I was in UAE, most of my Arab colleagues thought I am a Middle-Eastern. I am an Indian (from India). Now living in Malaysia.😇

For me it is the opposite..I have had a couple people tell me that I don't look like the heritage I am lol. I am half Irish and half Italian...two people said "You don't really look Italian." I see what they mean, because upon first looking at me I have auburn hair and fair skin. But my eyes do look like my grandma who is Italian. So it's interesting lol.

While growing up in the New York City area, I was often mistaken for being Jewish. My ancestry is 100% Italian.

In NY, Jews immigrated from places like Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe and Ukraine. So even if I have Italian Jews in my lineage (and based on my grandmother's maiden name, I might), I don't think that would account for the perceived similarity in appearance.

Because in the summer I have real dark olive tan skin. I never sun burn, in the winter I become almost white, then in spring I start to get my real dark olive tan. I look like I change race

But been called a Polack because I done dumb things and I do happen to have a little Polish in me.

My partner has been mistaken for Egyptian, Indonesian, Bahrani, Pakistani, Greek, Honduran and Native American. She's a Filipina.

@eventtemple123 I have family that have converted(they say reverted) to Judaism because they took those dna tests & found out they have Sephardic jewish ancestry. I have no idea if I do, these are second & third cousins. But I have been mistaken for Jewish, maybe it wasn't a mistake? I told myself I wouldn't do the 23 & Me thing...but it keeps nagging me in the back of my mind to just do it & see what all comes up. I just feel like it shouldn't matter to me.
