If you are married or in a long-term relationship - how do you celebrate Valentine's Day?

Our celebration has evolved over the years. I gave her a big bouquet of roses and lilies, a card, and some candy. She gives me a card if she has time to buy one. Either the night before or the night after Val. Day, we go out to a nice restaurant. Her birthday was just a few days ago, and that's when I gave her a nice gift.

I really don’t like Valentines. It’s a forced female “holiday”. I give her gifts all year long because I love making her happy.

The ex used to bring me flowers or candy, and two cards...and I used to buy him candy or make him a special dinner.

We are going out this evening. It doesn't often work that way but something came up in time for me to organise it and I will be finishing work earlier than usual .

Will be away from November 14 the previous year and land on Feb 14th for her to see me at the airport and head to a hotel..

Like a teenager on Prom Night!

Dress up, flowers, dinner, dancing, hotel, and then I have to earn my chocolates! 😉😉😉

We don't celebrate it. I never did before I was married either.

My wife (Goddess) and I will be dining in and hopefully I will be allowed my reward in the bedroom to please her.

I prefer to skip it, but he feels compelled to acknowledge it anyway and just goes a little less conventional. This year the card was accompanied by salted caramel gelato. 😂
