What makes you feel most alive?

(Men: please don't say "seeing boobs") 🤣 This is a serious question.

Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
Waking up in the morning and realizing I made it another day.
@Fungirlmmm
Let's chat tomorrow, ok.
About to sleep now.
Don't want to turn into a pumpkin.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@CookieCrumbs Mmm pumpkin. I bet if i tasted like pumpkin lots would want to eat me up. Hehe
@Fungirlmmm
There is always the maple syrup. A grade. 😉
Blondily · F
Good company where there's lots of laughter
SeekingConnection · 61-69, M
@Blondily Yes!
@Blondily
Sharing laughter with the right people... those who 'get' us... that's precious
Blondily · F
@CookieCrumbs yes exactly and you can say anything and they think youre hysterical

Being out in nature.
Mmiker · 46-50, M
Honestly, when I can put myself out of the picture and really provide care or compassion for another.
@Mmiker
When our lives make other people's lives better, that is something. 😊
Mmiker · 46-50, M
@CookieCrumbs I think it’s easier than we believe. Everyone is hurting and needs some support. As humans, we can offer so much.
Nebula · 41-45, F
Roller coasters
Nebula · 41-45, F
@CookieCrumbs yes very much
@Nebula
Wow! It's one of those things I can't/wont do. 😬 Yet I've taken many risky activities in my life... cliffs, hanging bridge, anything to do with water, etc.

What makes you say it makes you feel alive? The fear? The risk?
Nebula · 41-45, F
@CookieCrumbs the intentional adrenaline release hahaha
exexec · 70-79, C
Realizing that I have had a positive impact on someone's life. It is always a surpise when someone tells me, but it makes me feel vital.
@exexec
That's what gives our existence meaning..... that we made ourself useful in some way to leave a positive impact.

If we know we've done something to make someone's life better or easier, that is what matters.
Reject · 26-30, M
Hey now. This post got me feeling called out! 😂 But you got me thinking seriously about #2. 🤔 You know, it’s not just her calcium cannons. It’s really any part of someone I love. Limerence’s psychosomatic synesthesia is what I could call it. It’s when your love for someone is so great that everything you know becomes associated with it. Think of the scent of beauty or being able to breathe someone’s life. These things make no sense unless you’ve loved deeply enough for them to.
@Reject
Limerence’s psychosomatic synesthesia

Now you have a reason for #1.
That too can be associated with someone you love. 😉

I get what you mean. Even their scent or the thought of them can wake up your senses.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
A hike in the woods or forest, sunsets especially over water and roadtrips.
@SageWanderer
I understand this feeling too.
HobNoblin · 36-40, M
When I run a lot or ride my bike a lot. You get the runners high just out of the blue and just feel happy.
SarahAndSamantha · 51-55, T
Hearing a crowd cheer at the end of our first song
Being outside, in nature. Alone.
Seeing b..... reasts? 🤔 🤭

Hmm, not sure really. Short of winning the lottery I don't think there's anything 🤔
@UBotMate
What would you do with the prize?
@CookieCrumbs Fly first class to the Maldives to assess my options. Realistically I'd probably end up dead within 5 years 💥
SeekingConnection · 61-69, M
Walking along the shore, seeing the view from the top of a hill, deep and meaningful communication (especially with someone who feels the same about things as I do), watching live bands and playing music to an audience.
@SeekingConnection

deep and meaningful communication (especially with someone who feels the same about things as I do),

That is something precious and everyone gets to enjoy.
Enjoying my freedom. Hiking with my dogs. Writing poetry. People telling me how my poetry inspires them. Brings them joy. Spending time with friends who love and support and care about me. Singing and dancing. Making a difference in the lives of people.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I never understood that phrasing. 😆 The happiest? Most focused? Most alerted? Most interested? Feeling the most intense pain? 😅
@CrazyMusicLover
Could be all of the above
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@CookieCrumbs I guess I'd pick most interested and that is when I get to see new places or meet new interesting people. Experiencing something new and exciting.
@CrazyMusicLover
That would be the same for me, too.
Nothing beats the experience of "first time".
pdockal · 56-60, M
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
Jumping into the ocean.
@Harmonium1923
Have you checked the temperature?😎

You and I are like saltwater fish.... the ocean is a second home.
Sapio · 51-55, M
Knowing that I have managed to dodge the bullets and live life fortunately.
@Sapio
Going through that kind of experience makes you think of this stage of your life as a second chance -- to do better, to live more purposely.
mindstruggle · 31-35, F
When I am at the peak of the mountain looking at the sky at night and drinking my coffee feeling that mountain air in the morning.
@mindstruggle
Do you get to do that often?
dsrice10 · 56-60, M
Being with family and someone that you love and spending time with them. Doing something nice for someone just because and making someone day.
Pinkstarburst · 51-55, F
What’s with the hard questions sister?!?! 🤣
Pinkstarburst · 51-55, F
@CookieCrumbs You need to not do that anymore! 🤣
@Pinkstarburst
3km gives me a lot of time to think.
Maybe I should only do it 2x a week. 😁
Pinkstarburst · 51-55, F
@CookieCrumbs Or at least drink a margarita when you do it!
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
These days, not much -- but when I was younger playing bass on stage in local rock bands was energizing.
Keeper · M
I'll default to tacos then on a Tues 🫤
Keeper · M
@CookieCrumbs that's reserved 😉
@Keeper
What's the next best thing that makes you feel very alive?
Keeper · M
@CookieCrumbs The ice 🏒
a narrow escape from death
Umile · 41-45, F
@SatyrService 👏 👏 👏
GerOttman · 61-69, M
Putting a motorcycle over so deep into a turn that my foot pegs put up sparks from the asphalt!
@GerOttman
How long have you been riding?
For most of your adult life?
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@CookieCrumbs have not ridden in quite a while. In my 20's and 30s I didn't own a car for almost 10 years. had a work van but it wasn't mine. i miss it..
Umile · 41-45, F
When I go against the tide and win.

Absolutely liberating.

Especially if it was right.
SJones48 · 41-45, M
Going to Galveston Tx on vacation
@SJones48

Tell us more about Galveston.
SJones48 · 41-45, M
@CookieCrumbs Seeing the sunrise & sunsets from different locations and eating at my favorite restaurants there and seeing friends who moved there
Teslin · M
My Grandson
Teslin · M
@CookieCrumbs 18 months and yes, my first.
@Teslin
There is an unexplainable joy in watching a little human grow and develop. Enjoy this stage of your life. 😊
Teslin · M
@CookieCrumbs Thank you.
ReneeT · 61-69, F
When I can still lace up my shoes and go out on a solitary run on a trail
@ReneeT
Being healthy to do the things we love to do... that's important
ReneeT · 61-69, F
@CookieCrumbs It really is not only good for the body, but refreshing to the mind and soul too
AllAboutLaffs · 80-89, M
Capturing a really good image
@AllAboutLaffs
With or without bacon?
AllAboutLaffs · 80-89, M
@CookieCrumbs Doesn't matter .... as long as it pleases me
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
I would say going for a run in nature. The feel, smell, and sight of nature in general. Sex is life affirming as well. Having a good conversation with laughter, storytelling, and interesting thoughts.
@JimboSaturn you understand this:
feel, smell, and sight of nature
Spumoni · 46-50, M
Ice cream covered......

(.)(.)
@Spumoni
I thought it was spending time in... nature..
Spumoni · 46-50, M
@CookieCrumbs It's been a while, September at least. I've been slacking. But, the brach was fun
OldBrit · 61-69, M
Walking along a cliff path on a beautiful day.
@OldBrit
😌 I can imagine that...
Lou45 · 61-69, M
Waking up in the morning
@Lou45
That makes sense. Waking up is a gift.
Anything could have happened during our sleep.
Lou45 · 61-69, M
@CookieCrumbs and then my doggie greets me :)
marcusmcmasters007 · 46-50, M
Haha, fair enough—no "seeing boobs" answers here! 😜

Honestly, I feel most alive when I'm learning or discovering something new. Whether it's diving into a book, figuring out a tricky problem, or hearing an idea that completely shifts my perspective, that spark of "Aha!" is like a mini adrenaline rush. I guess in a way, curiosity is my personal life force.
@marcusmcmasters007
I can relate to that adrenaline rush of an "aha!" moment...it more than excitement... it's more of a fulfillment.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Being needed and able to help.
MaryDreamilton · 46-50, F
Dance music such as this
[media=https://youtu.be/ViP87WipSm0]
shinyplasticlove · 51-55, M
@MaryDreamilton Not too bad. I love dance electronic, dark techno, house, italo disco dj remix, vampire party music, rave.
MaryDreamilton · 46-50, F
@shinyplasticlove I've loved dance music since I was 13, and I still love it now at 48.
Nightwings · 31-35, F
Bungee jumping 🙂‍↕
Nightwings · 31-35, F
@CookieCrumbs Sadly no, but even years after I craved the feeling! The people in line were super sweet and let me try two more times, before taking their turns, because I fell in love with it instantly. I really want to try skydiving as well, but I think that will be a different type of sensation.
@Nightwings
I backed out of a skydiving experience. Hehe I was 25 at that time. Now I look back and regret it.
Nightwings · 31-35, F
@CookieCrumbs Aww. My husband tried it, he said he was happy that he did it, but wouldn't want to do it again. 🤭
Pretzel · 61-69, M
That second cup of coffee
Intuitive · F
Nothing anymore.
