Your photos always make me think about buying and wearing false eyelashes, because you look so good in them, what kind do you buy?

@Scribbles Thank you for saying that. I didn’t start wearing make up until about 5 years ago and then I taught myself how to do it.

I wear magnetic lashes that have the magnetic liner because I am allergic to the glue ons.

There’s so many tutorials and tips. I just follow some beauty influencers and watch them and then I try to do what they do. Probably fail at times lol.

It’s all trial and error though and it’s just makeup, it’s not permanent so you can always fix it and try again.

Also thanks for the concealer tip. I do that before work or going out. One of my eyes always needs my under eye concealer now. I'm getting old. I wish my eye bags at least matched. Lol.

I don't think I can pull off the eyeliner wing look. When I do my eyes for special occasions, I tend to put eyeliner just under my top lash line, put some shimmery tinted cream on my eyelids for a kind of eyeshadow, curl my eyelashes and mascara it. That's about all I can do for eyes. I can't do anything fancy.

@OldBrit Yeah, it's a pain to do. As a kid, I helped take down and put new wall paper up, and helped put new flooring in my parent's house. The wallpaper was the hardest. I vowed to never put wallpaper in when I had my own place. I've stuck by that. Lol

@Scribbles my dad and father in law both helped teach me how to hang paper. I do an OK job at it

Yes, I lost a lot of weight. I had to start buying smaller shorts and pants.

It is a slow recovery. My neck skin graft is integrating slowly, but still stiff. Movement is hard and it is sore. My back hurts too. My legs are weak, my steps awkward.

I tire easily.

I am slowly bringing down my blood sugar. Yet that is mostly due to Ozempic. It also makes me feel full longer, so I eat less. It is so weird.

But I press on.

@JoyfulSilence a slow recovery is better then dealing with infections and setbacks. Keep moving and rest when you need to and take care of yourself. 🤗
