Im gonna be an older student in counselling at a college so probs other adults and younger people 😬 got my interview tomorrow

I teach at a college. Your post reminds me of a conversation I had years ago with a first-year student who had spent one year after high school working before going to college.

She was one year older than the rest of the entering class, but she felt the difference acutely. As she put it, "These people actually think it's a big deal to drink!" 😂

Don't even want to talk about it. They ruined me and my ambitions lost my will power and identity for some time. Now I'm doing something else related to my skills.

I can't imagine going back to school.

It's been 10 years since college, I want to keep it that way.

Without the distraction of caring about being cool to my classmates I got a 3.97 GPA lol

Awwww.... however, you can rest assured that 24 back at uni/college is nowhere near ancient. 👏 Some students are in their 70s and even 80s 😳

That's nothing. I am doing a second bachelors and I am 40 something. I do it online though to avoid the embarrassment.

I went back at 26, I was the eldest of my classmates.

I plan to go back again because I never finished but I've been dragging my feet this past year with applying.

Yeah but the secret is because those classes are for 18 year olds you're gonna be SO MUCH SMARTER and it'll be easy and fun. Being an adult student is great.

You know,school is not exclusively a young persons game anymore.Pepole go back to school in their 50s and 60s.

I know the feeling. When i was younger i took a class with people way younger than me. Its akward.

Join a sorority.
They will have all of the answers to the finals for general classes.

I was out of high school for 9 years before going back for my degree.

I went back to college when I was 30. I felt like a senior citizen.
