I just graduated with a bachelors in businness administration with a concentration in int'l business.

Now i have no idea what to do.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
Good for you. I have a business admin diploma as well. It's a good education.. I would look for jobs, anything to get your foot in the dooor
Applying for jobs would be the typical thing ;-)
Tarnished · 26-30, M
Find out where you can go to talk about career counseling at your college. Then have them help you figure what you want to do for a career and how to build a resume for applying for jobs/internships within that area, and what other additional steps you made need to do.
WillaKissing · 56-60
First off Congratulations.

Second the word is your cupcake now, just decide if you are interested in private business, health care industry, local or state government, or international business and apply where you wish to go.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Everything is a business. Start by thinking of yourself as "Darktippedrose inc>" Now what industry do you want to be in??😷
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@darktippedrose Seriously. Right now you are your only product. Not in the oldest profession sense . But as an offering to an employer. So find an industry that you want to be in. One that you will get some enjoyment from..😷
Thereyouare · 56-60, M
@whowasthatmaskedman
that is the tool of your family that is not the case for her .
she's going to go places and succeed why would you try to hold her down .
just because your family is just
Because they can't do anything but minimum wage jobs
because there is no intelligence to be passed down from one generation to another in your family
Your food stamps will be there tomorrow you will be a happy camper
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Thereyouare I can only assume you are confused of commenting on a different question. 😷
braveheart21 · 61-69, M
Thats brilliant love... Get rid of the abusive husband before you go into the business world then you will not have to share your earnings with him.... I wish you every success my friend... You have worked long and hard to make your future better 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
Why did you take a degree without a clear course of career direction? A company you thought you’d work for? A job you thought you’d do?
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Muthafukajones Its actually a good idea. Once you understand the structure of a business, than knowledge can be adapted to run any business..😷
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
@whowasthatmaskedman let me restate this:

Let’s say you want to be a doctor

You go to medical school
Then you apply to a hospital
Hospitals are easy to find

School
Job
Career

What was she doing?
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Muthafukajones I get that. But clearly she has yet to find her path. What Business Admin or a Business management course will do is teach her navigation and map reading for all industries.😷
Congrats. Let me suggest that you find a way to bring peace to the world and make money at the same time
@darktippedrose heck no go private sector just figure out how to get people to pay for peace
darktippedrose · 36-40, F
@BiasForAction Ill have to figure how to get into it
@darktippedrose indeed is a good start
Thereyouare · 56-60, M
@Coralmist congratulations on graduating
That is great that paper can service you well through out your whole life
SW-User
Congratulations. How about international banking?
darktippedrose · 36-40, F
@SW-User great idea. Not sure how to get there
SW-User
@darktippedrose look on indeed.com.
More useful than a philosophy degree. I'd guess administrative duties at a business?
SW-User
Be flexible. Get experience in something which can springboard you to something else.
robertsnj · 56-60, M
that is really impressive. Congrats!
darktippedrose · 36-40, F
@robertsnj thank you!
Iwantyourhotwife · 22-25
Get rolling with a small, concrete idea

It grows from there
SW-User
It's okay, take a minute to bask in your victory. Congratulations 🎉
WhatLifeIsFor · 41-45, M
congrats.... just start your own business
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
Congratulations though
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
Start Applying for jobs I guess
plungesponge · 41-45, M
Happens to a lot of people
Business is fairly broad but at least you didn't do some obscure non-commercial degree that has no job outcomes at all
plungesponge · 41-45, M
@SW-User my degree was pretty close. science degree, basically a hobby study
SW-User
@plungesponge Civil engineering is of little use to the workplace. But you have to have it.

Most degrees are only there to fund University departments, and keep lecturers in a job.
plungesponge · 41-45, M
@SW-User yeap. I eventually got into scientific sales and built an okay career there, but probably should have just done accounting or something lmao.

Then again I hear chatgpt is going to. destroy accounting jobs
Strictmichael75 · 61-69, M
Congratulations
