My wife is on this account with me, and she has experienced that problem at least twice. Ignoring him did not work. It just increased the frequency of messaging, so we blocked him. He showed up with a new account, and we blocked him as soon as he started his objectionable messages.

Well....the reigning thought is that even being nasty is providing him feedback, which gives him incentive to continue. So, the prevailing idea is to ignore and continue to even though there might actually be a short term increase in his texts....eventually he'll stop
