I never had my level tested. But there was a period of almost 2 years that my bones hurt. I already have arthritis and I thought it was getting worse. It hurt bad enough that I had gotten very inactive, complaining about the pain. I can’t take OTC painkillers due to having a sensitive stomach. I finally watched a video that Dr. Berg made and got some good information. I don’t consume cow’s milk except to cook with and was drinking some (not enough apparently) almond milk and eating cheese occasionally so figured maybe my vitamin D was low, also needed Vitamin K and got a combo. Also heard about Boron supplements and Moringa leaf powder. Started taking all 3 and the pain was much less within a week and gone completely within 2 weeks. Hasn’t returned. Had a bone density test done in 2024 and the test results were very good.

@cherokeepatti I don’t drink cows milk either - just the odd time maybe, and had many of those symptoms too. I thought it was perimenopause. Maybe it is. Idk. I just started supplements and we will have to see if my hip, back and shoulder pain go away. I would wake up feeling like I’m 90.

@DoubleRings I felt old too. And tired all the time. Felt a whole lot better after taking the supplements. My entire body was racked with pain.
Wow 50,000! Thats a large dose

An hour of sun exposure can produce between 10,000 to 25,000 IU of vitamin D if a large portion of your body is exposed.

I take a 1000 mg capsule in the morning and another one at night. My Dr suggested it, that was yes ago.

No symptoms, but always diagnosed. Had one doctor comment "Everyone has low Vitamin D."

I take a small supplement, nowhere near yours. No specific symptoms. Now iron, I had low iron and I felt like crap.

I started taking vitamin B supplements because I was low, and then added vitamin D. They both help but it’s something you only notice once you get “better”. The symptoms are just a general malaise.
