Yes, whenever I'm out and about at work since I'm unvaccinated. All those who aren't vaccinated have to wear a mask. Seems a fair enough compromise to me.
@SW-User The last gonad who had the nerve to tell me to get vaccinated, I told to tell me the details of their last doctor visit. They said "That's none of your business," to which I responded "Exactly."
@Nimbus I think some are trying to sell them at bodega stores and flea markets to turn a profit. They are selling for 50 cents a package now at one discount store and about 3 months ago they were having a hard time finding anyone to give them to, they wanted to know if hospitals, clinics or other such places wanted them to be donated to them. They were even giving them to customers for free because they were piled up so much in bins.
@Nimbus Every time I saw someone working in a store (Walmart usually the younger employees) wearing a bandanna print triangle mask I would think that the money center was about to get robbed.
@Nimbus I went to visit my hoarder friend last week on a very hot day, and he turned on his fan for me...I could see it in the dim distance...it looked sort of brown where it was supposed to be white...🤣🤣🤣 The next day I had a full blown sinus infection.
The masks did help when the pandemic first started, but I did get sick of it after a while, and I’m glad that we were not required to wear them anymore. I’m sick of them!
Well actually I’m taking driving lessons right now and I’m required to have mask. Ugh!
@Rose90 Covid hasn't gone - the UN has just turned off the taps of funding for Covid by cancelling the 'global health emergency determination' for Covid-18+. But Covid itself was never the problem - it's how it was 'managed' that was.
I don't but some people still do in public (outdoors) and I saw a person wearing one in their car (with nobody else in the car) a few days ago. All Gp clinics still demand that everyone wears a mask, but now the WHO has canned it's official world health emergency determination I might start refusing if/when I need to go see a GP or visit a hospital.
@devonman If you enter the main hospital for Newcastle NSW you get told to wear a mask or security gets called and you get ejected (unless you have a legitimate health emergency). All GP clinics require all staff and patients to wear masks. But nowhere else does.
@zonavar68 No longer have to in UK Some clinicians now thinking mask wearing was ‘ Ill advised ‘ Also so many people were exempt , it was a joke and it never enforced here.
@devonman I never used them outdoors or in my own vehicles (regardless if just me or I had others with me). In fact I just threw my cloth masks out a few weeks ago as they'd been unused for over 12 months.
I never wore one. When they were required in public places here I did all my shopping in a nearby city where they weren’t required. The doctor’s even the ones affiliated with the local hospitals aren’t requiring them now.
i never did. My father does though but in his defense. He has just gone through radiation therapy and has cancer. If he catches anything, it could be extremely bad
@Torsten I pray for your father's health, but do not lie. There is no defense for wearing a mask no matter what your situation is. They do not work and you said that yourself, so be honest
@Stargazer89 it doesnt matter what I believe. Its what he does and he feels he is doing his best to protect from viruses. He also has had the covid vaccine 4 times now. I think thats utter nonsense. But it aint my body that poison has been injected in. I have had covid twice now and he has had it zero times. Not saying the vaccine or masks work by any means but he aint going to take my opinion seriously given that info and he shouldnt. Everyone should just do what they feel is best for them. My issue is others trying to mandate their beliefs on the rest of us
Sadly at my work they used to have that. Had conflict coz of that..once or twice.
So glad they have done away with it coz people STOOD UP TO THAT BULLSHIT! I was one of first to say no more at my work during that time and in other places like supermarket and that.
IT does not help, never has and never will just like the so called vax will never help people who get it..more likely make them ill and more
People should not be wearing that as what was being preached in 2020 was fake and a way to get people scared and turn on others sadly. Its just a cold...nothing more: some may have it worse but they might have other things wrong with them so there was NO need to do the things that where done to everyone.
