Whats your opinion on masks being long term?

I am not a fan of masks feel like I can't breathe in them or even hear people or myself I am hard of hearing wear hearing aids and I have an exempt badge and I Don't wear them but I wear a visor as it easier for me to communicate. as I lipread a lot.
I think they're awesome tbh let's face it, everyone wears a mask anyway 馃

[@7501,Nihiless] Thats very Zen of you
[@621893,whowasthatmaskedman] Thank you
SpaceJesus41-45, M
Hey, I'm wearing mine for years to come. I don't care what everyone else does
when the pandemic ends, it should be an optional but socially accepted thing like in much of eastern asia
[@4199,BlueVeins] My thoughts exactly. During our regular flu season, I'll be wearing one.
TheLastWord22-25, M
They hurt my ears, bother my face, they constant air being blown out through the top irritates my eyes, I can't talk anymore, I can't breathe with experiencing so much agida. It pisses me the Hell off that some people want me to live the rest of my life in this hellish nightmare. The fear that the life I used to love may be gone forever makes me hate just being here. I'm so mad I'm shaking cause of it. I look at everyone with disgust when I'm out in public. I have a permanent frown now because of all this bull. I can't take it anymore! I curse the day I was born. I'm not depressed, I just hate living in constant anger and irritation.
[@1201426,JoeyHabib] Jesus man. What kind of masks are you wearing? That sounds awful.
TheLastWord22-25, M
[@517284,HarryRidesTheShortBus] I can't find a good mask. They're either too thick or too rough, like those paper ones. I liked the face sheilds but of course they don't approve of them anymore and they were always hard to see out of anyway.
[@1201426,JoeyHabib] Yeah, I don't like the paper ones either. I found some at Sam's Club that are adjustable called Skin360. 6 for $10. They're the most comfortable one's I've found. Here's a link to their website if you want to check it out.
MrBrownstone41-45, M
People can wear what they want. I鈥檝e not worn one.
DeluxedEdition22-25, F
I think its laughable
ShadowDancer41-45, M
I hate them so much. I wear it to blend in & avoid being bothered / denied, fined or whatever by the Zombies. Wish I could just chuck it. I always cheat, I don't cover my nose - I'm not making myself uncomfortable / depriving myself of fresh air. In a month or so when the temperature goes up higher, I'm hoping I'll go without it. This asymptomatic transmission stuff is BS. Its to keep everyone afraid.
MrBrownstone41-45, M
[@9804,ShadowDancer] I鈥檒l make a comment on the asymptotic. Does that mean you can call into work sick everyday?
In a few weeks I will never wear one again
TheLastWord22-25, M
[@6757,questionWeaver] I wear them because of the law not out of personal desire. So I agree. Are they getting rid of the mask law where you live?
[@1201426,JoeyHabib] The law is not being enforced .... and I will not shop where masks are required
Stereoguy56-60, M
I saw the need for the pandemic, but for long term I am completely against it.
whowasthatmaskedman61-69, M
Masks are a nuisance. Particularly if you have to wear glasses or hearing aids. We had to wear them in public for 6 months and even now on Public transport or in close quarters.. I am sure body armour is not popular with soldiers either. But they wear it for a good reason.
I like wearing them in the winter time here. My mask keeps my face warm. Also don't have to worry about wearing lipstick.
[@517284,HarryRidesTheShortBus] I haven't worn lipstick in months 馃槃
curiosi56-60, F
I will not destroy my health by wearing an INEFFECTIVE mask which only purpose is for the elite to have tighter control of the sheep.
HairbrushDiva31-35, F
I don't like having to wear one myself but we all have to.
Slade51-55, M
Nobody has mentioned the crime aspect. It used to be illegal to wear a mask in public (started with the Klan). Time to bring that back.

Do you really think Antifa and that garbage would have been so emboldened to riot all summer if their comely faces weren't covered for the cameras?
[@1195324,Backdoortothesublime] Really? Antifa? Yeah I hate how they and BLM attacked the capital馃檮
StrongerNow51-55, F
I have not worn a mask yet.

I was even in an accident a few weeks back and during the course of the night I was in two different ambulances and two different hospitals.
Nobody made me wear it.
They GAVE me one, and told me I 鈥淸i]have to have one to enter鈥 [/i]but nobody actually made me WEAR it.
AutisticYoungWoman200218-21, F
I hate them.
I certainly will not be wearing one. My breathing airways were made to be open and free, not unhealthily stifled.
BackyardShaman61-69, M
Covid will block your air ways.[@1173,Magenta]
[@1062793,BackyardShaman] 馃槾 Maybe, maybe not.
I'm just not arrogant enough to believe I control when it's my or anyone's time to go. There's a bigger picture.
BackyardShaman61-69, M
[@1173,Magenta] just consider, some of the masks are really not bad, 6 ft is not far away, and it鈥檚 only while your out at a store or something.
Confined51-55, M
I have to wear at work. I dont ware any where else any more now that we do not have mandates. Id rather take my changes with covid. Im pretty sure I am immune since I have been exposed to covid probably 100 or more times.
Wear them when I have to .. but will be sooo happy to kick them to the curb
smiler201256-60, M
{@jadethedragon101] that is fair enough . if some with hearing problems as yourself struggles that is the right move . when people talk to you from behind a mask it makes the sound muffled . it is difficult at time to tell what they are saying when you have good hearing so in your case a virtually impossible task
While it鈥檚 obviously more comfortable not to wear a mask, I don鈥檛 mind them for the short time I鈥檓 out in public. If mandatory mask-wearing continues for a while longer, I鈥檓 okay with it.
Sigurd36-40, M
Eh... After we all stop, I will probably wear one if I get sick just so I don't give whatever I have to other people. Seems the courteous thing to do.
Nayla51-55, F
[@1203859,Sigurd] I think i will too
I plan on making mine long term even if the restrictions are lifted. Not because of the virus, but i just feel better hidden.
Nayla51-55, F
I鈥檓 used to them. I have to wear them all day at work and whenever I leave my house.
BackyardShaman61-69, M
Me too I have some that are really comfortable.[@506684,DawsonsGrove]
I don't mind the masks.

I prefer to cover my face from the sun as much as possible.
TheSunisout56-60, M
Probably something that is not going to go away very quick, ask me in 5 years time.
Virgo7956-60, M
Can't wait until they're fire starters馃槍
I鈥檒l wear one for as long as I have to.
lovefootball199026-30, M
I hate masks 馃檮
Jadethedragon10131-35, F
[@1203989,lovefootball1990] same
Throw my ass in gulag
BackyardShaman61-69, M
I鈥檓 ready to go permanently with mask mandates, and a 6 ft barrier. Give me my personal space, and the mask is no problem at all, keeps down cold, flu, Covid, and stupid people staring at me.
Poppies61-69, F
Even if they are not required, I plan to keep wearing them until COVID danger seems to be a rarity.
ScottR51-55, M
I can comfortably wear a mask for about 45 minutes. After that, I free the nose.
everyoneknows31-35, T
well lets face it its a good idea. more higienic, more private 馃憤
more safe 馃槵
They're in the way of my line of visuon. But I'll wear them as long as I'm required to.
Dont have a problem with wearing one, if I get one less common cold I'll be satisfied.
Thatguy3331-35, M
I'm only wearing them because it's the right thing to do at the moment.
BigBen61-69, M
If it's necessary to help keep people safer, I'll live with it.
It's probably a good idea 馃し鈥嶁檧锔
They keep my face pretty.
I love them.
KA9ha31-35, M
best way is to have multiple masks and after 6-8hours put them into wash machine.... spray a bit of perfume inside before you wear any. Relax
