I keep sugar free Halls with honey and lemon handy, because a runny nose usually makes me cough, and I take TWO allergy pills to try to dry up my sinuses. I also take 2 Tylenol. That usually works. I also take 1000 mg of vitamin C. The zinc only works if you take it within the 1st 24 hours. IF my throat starts to feel scratchy, I keep Vicks Vapo Cool Severe sore throat lozenges handy. They work really well after the allergy pills block up my sinuses. They help with the headache.
