A misconception, but as you stated, a combination of inexperience and alcohol will do that.

During college, I was dating a technical virgin. When we had penetrative sex for the first time, it was at least an hour after we started making out, and lots of oral sex and no alcohol was involved. Everything went smoothly.

She said she was "sore" the next morning, as in it was a little uncomfortable for her to sit down the next day.

@Northwest yeah, I'm sure it would have been better if I had of been properly aroused and he'd took his time like that but he didn't know what he was doing and neither did I. I've had much better experiences since then which is what counts.

@Chiefjustice I got the vibe he was going to kick me to the curb, I was being unfair and when things were turning sexual I would scoot. He finally had enough of that and said so. Ended in a fight where I thought I lost him, but he heat me home to my apartment. Have PTSD from being physically and sexually abused by my biological father. That was getting in my way... Then I realized I was an adult! We had a 2 week break due to work travel issues and I bought clothes really couldn't afford when he called and asked me over for dinner and a movie. I had started the pill and had decided if he even glanced at my cleavage... I would attack. Itvess an amazing night of firsts. 😊
