Yes. We used to go dancing at a big country dance hall once a month with a group of friends. We took lessons together, so we weren't too bad. Everybody was free to dance with anybody and it was fun. Then we got old.

@swirlie I've loved dancing for as long as I can remember.

When I was really young, I saw the film, Dirty Dancing and sometime thereafter, I developed a passion for dancing.

Every chance I got, I would study various forms of dance (mostly what I've seen in films and music videos) to add to my own repertoire.

Also, dancing for me is an escapism, almost like a sort of out-of-body experience where for a brief moment, I feel like I can be someone different from what I really am.

I know what you mean! I've always been a dance nut myself, but I hooked up with a group of female professional Broadway dancers who now volunteer their skills at fundraising events that I host who let me dance with them. We don't do Broadway stuff where I'm ever involved, but we do a lot of rough-cut, bar room style bar-top type of step dancing where we entertain an intoxicated audience!
