@MasterLee yeah supply and demand. If it was in demand here someone would open up a restaurant to serve it and other British foods. Haven’t seen anything like it in Oklahoma.
@MasterLee the only British food I’ve had was on British Airways and it wasn’t bad. But I usually order a Kosher meal and figured it would be better….would get lamb and salmon usually for dinner. Sometimes a roast dinner with peas. Better than the airline meals I’ve had on other airlines.
@Nimbus Okies like biscuits and gravy most of all or sausage biscuits or breakfast burritos. If they want a big breakfast they call it a farmers breakfast with eggs, sausage or ham or bacon or all 3 plus some type of eggs, biscuits or toast, maybe gravy, has brown potatoes, coffee and if really hungry pancakes or sausage. They might as well go to a Golden Corral breakfast buffet if they want all that
@Nimbus the best ones I've ever had were at Greene King Inns. Crispy bacon, Cumberland sausages, crispy hash browns, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and hot buttered seeded bloomer bread. HP sauce, ketchup and all washed down with a pot of English Breakfast tea.
[nimbus]lol that looks like limey heart attack food nimby if you give such a health people such a meal like that regular 😆denote the sarcasm there nimby
Just like you can get a cheeseburger in the United Kingdom. Although, not everywhere. If one really wanted it it would be easy enough to get all the components to make it. Might have to mail order the blood sausage 🤢
I've never seen one advertised, but you know, I think anyone advertising one had better have a grasp of the morning sausage. I'd bought myself a sausage maker and you need the right ratio of rusk(filler) and the proper balance of pork shoulder, pork belly, and pig fat. Then there are the spices. I've tried variations of this breakfast and enjoyed it, but I'm still working on those sausages. Not sure about the black pudding however. My jury is out on that piece.
