That evolution has occurred is inescapable yet some creationists think that finding a living dinosaur would disprove evolution...well How?

For example, many people have searched for Mokele-mbembe; the supposed sauropod dinosaur living in the Congo.
But supposing someone did finally find Mokele-mbembe how would it somehow overturn the theory of evolution and an old earth?

Birds are living dinosaurs.
@JonLosAngeles66

Indeed. Of course i'm referring to non-avian dinosaurs but i figured including that would just confuse matters for most people lol
@Pikachu creationists will never be swayed by logic. Which is fine. Their beliefs are founded in faith. The problem is when they want it replacing science in schools and in public policy.
@JonLosAngeles66

Indeed. I don't have a problem with them believing what they believe. Only when they try to co-opt science to support that belief do i take issue.

There is no shortage of people willing to declare they know all the details of things that have never happened.
@Really

Well if only they could make a coherent case to justify how they think they know! lol
Since the Bible doesn't indicate in any way the age of the heavens and earth YEC isn't compatible with it, so I can't answer your question. Sorry. New shoes.
@AkioTsukino

Sadly there's not really a relevant portion for me to quote.
I asked why YEC was not compatible with the bible and you posted a wall of text which did not seem to me to make that case.

So i'm asking you to narrow it down to what you think is the BEST example of why YEC is incompatible with the bible.
@Pikachu Sorry. My bad. We were at cross purposes. Well, more like I got into too much of a hurry and screwed it up. I'll edit the post.
@AkioTsukino

No worries. It's peripheral to the subject of this thread anyway.

It’s the time line they have a problem with. Dinosaurs went extinct millions of years ago. If they found one living with humans. They can deny all history before the bible
@Pikachu If I may respond. No. See Genesis Chapter 1 on my website.

@DocSavage

lol he starts out well....and then just falls on his face.
Like the Big Foot and Nessie claims, you need two to make one. Where’s the gene pool? I think it’s the golden hamster that is an exception. The last one known was a pregnant female and the current population are all her descendants.
@BlueSkyKing

It would have to be a pretty small one
Take care. Otherwise sane persons have lost their minds in the attempt to understand creationist "logic".
@CorvusBlackthorne

lol no worries, i'm a veteran in this arena.
Cause "Yew dumm evilutionists said they was EXTINCT! LIERS!!!1!"
