@SnailTeeth Do you not have decent toasters in the US!?
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@AntisocialTroll Don't pretend the UK doesn't also get their toasters from China.
GlitterEater · 36-40, F
@AntisocialTroll You gotta know what a crumpet is to understand cricket.

Totally agree. Used to be a bagel man each morning until I had to go on low fiber diet after surgery. Now I'm addicted to muffins. And have you noticed they now have "thin bagels" to compete against them?
MethDozer · M
@dancingtongue No I haven't seen those. How are they?
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
@MethDozer Interesting, but like most compromises, neither fish nor fowl. Easier to toast like a muffin, more of the texture of a bagel but without the flavor.

as an english guy, i still have to ask, the breakfast muffin?
MethDozer · M
@AllelujahHaptism they have such a perfect texture.
Straylight · 31-35, F
@MethDozer They were first served up in Kentucky though.
AllelujahHaptism · 36-40, M
@Straylight made by an english guy in new york first though, so it maybe still counts haha

Every time that I have one I do so in protest to the British Parliament's treatment of the muffin men. GIVE THEM THEIR BELLS BACK.
ElwoodBlues · M
@Benjago I confess: there is a lot I do not know about the Muffin Men!
