What would jesus do if he witness what happen in israel now?

4meAndyou · F Best Comment
REALLY great and interesting question. When the rich man asked Jesus "What MORE can I do to reach the kingdom of heaven?", (paraphrasing), Jesus told him that he must live by the commandments of Moses...(the TEN COMMANDMENTS), and give away all his wealth and follow Jesus.

Are the Jews of Israel obeying the commandment of Moses to "Love Thy Neighbor"? Do they care more about owning land, (wealth), than they do about attaining the Kingdom of God?

On the other hand, Hamas is at war with Israel, and they are bombing the sh!t out of them, and murdering them and killing babies.

Jesus was into non violence, so He and his followers would probably allow themselves to be killed.

Matthew 10:34-39

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to ‘set[a] a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; 36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ 37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it."

Cry, probably...

He is witnessing all that is happening in Israel now... Nothing happens on this planet without Jesus knowing about it.. Every thought that a human will think is known by The LORD...

Christian’s always face persecution.
The Christian Arabs are treated badly.
@SW-User More like the xtians do the persecuting.

@NativePortlander1970 Not in that bombed hospital in Gaza!
@SW-User Yep, the hospital that Gaza dropped a missle on themselves.

Which part? The airstrikes, or the gunning down of people in a music festival?

He did nothing about the Romans after all.
SW-User
He probably is witnessing it, and getting dressed for his 2nd coming.
SW-User
whatever he's done during any war since he's existed 🤷🏻‍♀️

Turn some water into wine and get drunk?
SW-User
@hunkalove But he did not interfere with the barbaric Roman occupation.

If you read the time in the wilderness, he rejects that approach

He'd light up a doobie and say I AM THE TRUTH THE LIGHT AND ABOUT TO BECOME THE BAKED.

Wasn't the Jesus character the king of the Jews? Therefore, wouldn't he be on their side? After all, he did say that he didn't come to bring peace but a sword.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@SW-User If that is true then we are in hell.
SW-User
@Diotrephes I bet it feels like that in the Gaza Strip.

@SW-User I am sure that the final Palestinian death toll will be in the hundreds of thousands. The Israelis are doing one of their typical genocides.

Isn't he the warmonger who boasted =
Matthew 10:34 (NKJV) = “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword."

@EarthlingWise Why are you calling him a liar? Maybe because he was one. Lots of charcters in the Bible are despicable people but the Jesus character is one of the main liars.
@Diotrephes but then few people go beyond the nice pictures in the book.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
[@DCarey ] Since you don't think the Jesus character was a liar you should be able to easily do what he said a person of faith can do. So, walk outside and command a tree to uproot itself and to jump into the nearest body of water. If the tree does as you have commanded it to do then Jesus told the truth. Otherwise, he lied. And remember, not one person on the planet has ever done what he said a perso of faith can do. Therefore, either no one has ever had any real faith or he was a bald-faced liar. So, go command that tree and see what happens. Be sure to videotape it.

Considering who he is - he is witnessing it and he's not doing a thing - that time has not come. When he comes to do anything it will be bad for this world. Most people will think it's an alien invasion but it's him coming back from the clouds in the sky with his angels.

My guess is that He wouldn't address anything that's front page news, but He might make it
Well, provided Jesus was who he said he was he would have a much better understanding of the situation than any of us including the ability to look into hearts
