Not sure about Karma but your conscience is certainly working overtime.
Stop doing the bad things and maybe good things will happen for you. Worth a try anyway.

I believe in karma, chaos theory and that it’s important to not absorb the negativity of others.
Eeyore is cute, but I don’t want that view of life. I believe the glass is always half full, clouds have silver linings and our positive views, when acted on, typically yield positive outcome(s).

Bad things often happen to good people who do bad quicker than to bad people who do bad, because good people who do bad suffer with a conscience and bad people do not.
That said, the odds are that if you do bad things often enough you'll meet up with bad consequences. It's not karma, it's just cause and effect. Most bad people, those who repeatedly do bad, do not have happy lives overall. Of course, bad is somewhat a subjective thing and so are the degrees of bad. One person's bad is another person's acceptable. Many people would view Donald Trump as bad, for example. He would disagree and so would many others. Few would disagree that Ted Bundy was bad and look at his life overall, it was not any kind of success.

Bad things happen to all of us. I don't think the forces of fate really keep any sort of scorecard. I think maybe what you're feeling in these instances of karma is simply your conscience.

@SpectralMourning This, basically.

@jshm2 Well said.

Good and bad things happen to every kind of person. But the fact you're trying to correct yourself, I think shows you are more good than bad
Ferric67 · M
It’s exactly that
Fifty fifty ish
Both happen to everyone
It’s what we make of it that defines us

I’m the same way. Somebody can do something horrible to me and if I get back at them, karma gives me a flat tire 🙄🙄
PhoenixPhail · M
That says something good about you. You know right from wrong, and you have a conscience. No one could ever accuse you of being a psychopath. Your natural guidance system is intact.

Alot of it has to do with luck some people are super lucky some are super unlucky

I believe in cause and effect.
Instant cause and effect: If you go out and get crazy drunk, and do crazy things, you will wake up with a bad hangover, and, possibly no memory of what you did. THAT is nearly instant cause and effect.
Long term cause and effect: if you continue that behavior, you will have long term cause and effect: brain damage, possible STD's, getting fired from your job due to lack of brains, ulcers, and bad teeth from living on a poverty diet.

Karma can be instant or can span over lifes.

Nope. At least not fast enough.

If you do wrong things then expect to suffer for them

@BlueSkyKing no this diagram was specifically made for scientology. Scientology is even in the center. Overlapping all areas.
All religions should be in the center. Including atheism.
Karma specifically is Hindu BTW. So karma has absolutely nothing to do with scientology.
It's labeling scientology worsed of all beliefs. Because it covers all areas.
This diagram is even labeling some beliefs better than others when all should be in the center.
