My therapist kept calling me black today because it's apparently the politically correct way to address someone who isn't white?

I know the nhs has been adapting critical race theory in some of its training for therapists recently. It was true at least in the Tavistok which was closed down. But I imagine it's in other places.

They probably got told to do that but I think it's weird and alienating for clients and bad for client therapist rapport 🤨

I think we should do it by DNA everybody is what they are if you're black then you're black if you're white and you're white if you're Chinese or Chinese it doesn't make any difference

@InOtterWords it was dumb. She then asked me what I identify myself as far as colour and I say brown. She apologises and claims she may naturally switch to "black" throughout the session because it's how it's referenced in research and her training.

I'm literally doing training rn and never seen that.
