Foxes getting lucky outside my window 😩

I don’t like them but I would never hurt them.
I had one in my garden last year, very tame, but she had been in an accident. I let her have water from my pond, then gently encouraged her in her way. I hope she survived.

There was one sounding her mating call in the woods out back at 1 AM. Very unnerving.
It's like the angry scream of a mountain lion or something.

Was stunned to find out later it was just a little fox.

I thought that was just how they call to each other? Rather than doing the deed.

It disturbed me the first time I heard it cause I didn't know what it was.
