Do you let them live in their delusional world or do you call them out on it?

Do you feel like your significant other is someone that you can go to for emotional support?

People feared their wrath if they would dare question the person's motives, so they all stayed silent and allowed that person to run the show? Well until one person had the strength to stand up to them and blow it all to hell? ☺

I do sometimes, but I read somewhere that you only feel that way if you do things for the praise. If you do it out of the goodness of your heart, then you don't need the other person to reciprocate. True or not true?
