But, what if they are real??? We made our identities to help us to deal with trauma so terrible that we couldn't deal with them and now, we have to live with them all instead of living with the trauma itself.

I don't know how many there are - but there are more than three of us.

@atlantic59 Yep... worse still, drinking and drugs are often symptoms of mental illness as the mentally ill drink and take drugs in an attempt to drown out other symptoms that they experience.

I’m not sure either of them are. Reality can be very challenging for me because of my issues. I often struggle with what is real or not.

I am quite certain that my stomach and intestines are extremely intelligent, because they are always acting up, rebelling against me, and making themselves known in unpleasant ways...🤣🤣🤣

@Trippy Hmmm, In part....probably? The rest I suspect is in truly knowing[i] myself[/i]. So perhaps, the word is perspective?
Hopefully, in speaking what I feel is the truth through self evaluation, the right people get it. But then....I have no control over that.😉
