Scapegoat is a very interesting operative term in talking about this personal schism. I have a prose about my personal experience. It is like you have to turn on yourself to keep an integrity that one can live with.
No one wants to be seen base like a beast if they can afford it.

@Pfuzylogic We are life. To claim duality in proclaiming...My life...or better yet: I think. May as well say you circulate your blood...you digest your food as well. Those just happen. As does thinking. As does life. We ARE it. Cast no second hand blame on your actions while in the midsts of it's fulfilment.

I would define a different reality. How can you have two struggling sides if life, blood and digestion was all that there was.
There is something that exists that goes beyond what we share by simple sight. I would assert that a soul exists in each one of us even though it is not tangible for us to see.

@Pfuzylogic Might you simply say my soul? As though it were your possession? Are are you...the soul in question?

My soul has been in serious conflict and it seems that you have gone through a similar travail.
