Why do people only care to talk about themselves?

Usually people will only care to talk about themselves when they don't care about whoever they're talking to and how they're doing. People are selfish.

And never once inquiring about you. I always take it as them not being interested in getting to know me yet they still enjoy chatting for whatever reason. I love getting to know people better but no one ever asks about me. Not ever. XD But I can't hold it against them and maybe it's best that they don't try to get to know more about me. Most who do end up leaving but even then, can't blame them. 🤷

We all have a little narcissist in us. Talk about yourself, I'll listen.

People know themselves better than anyone else....I sometimes find myself relating things someone else is saying to something in my own life. It isn’t necessarily that I don’t care about the other person’s thoughts & feelings, it’s just that my own experiences are what I know best.

I honestly love hearing about people and what they're at. Yes sometimes the conversation might be one sided at times and I feel "ok are you going to ask how I am?" But I don't read into it too much. As long as I'm not getting pervy shmervy crazy assed messages I'm pretty good with that. ☺☺

I don't always talk about myself. I am always fascinated to hear what other people have to say about me.

Because the other person doesn't shares anything about them 😂

It just happens to be the most interesting conversation topic.

Cause they know the most about themselves, even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes.

Some people in conversations don’t know how to engage. They’re confused on what’s worth while talking about. They don’t know what to ask and so instead go on and on only about themselves.

i heard people who talk about themselves are super smart. oh really? yes, it's true. well I heard people to talk TO themselves are extra sexy. is that a fact? yes and they have lots of money and great sex. stop teasing me. wink. blush.
