What's one mind blowing fact about you or someone you know?

When i was 16 i used to fly gliders cross country.

My childhood home was built on top of a battlefield and it stood exactly opposite the fort's main entrance.

As a baby I was (almost) blind. All I could see when I was (very) young were shapes and I could tell light from dark. I've been wearing glasses since I was 5 months old and had a surgery when I was 2 or 3 y.o.

Ooh....my closest friend - She' AMAZING !....she's had leukaemia 3 times !!!
Been so close to death twice.....the doctors said she wouldn't make it.

But she beat that bitch, three times over ! - She's the most awesome person I know !...has the biggest heart....and is kind to everybody !🤗

I once caused a complete evacuation of JKF airport in New York.

I used to be a sleepwalker when I was a kid. I escaped way too many times from the house in the middle of the night. My neighbors always managed to catch me though.

I used to have really bad hallucinations when I was a kid. Now i’m so thankful I no longer have those although it did leave a trauma.

Not exactly mind blowing, but i've managed to astral project out of my body by meditating on the intention for hours beforehand. I'd just about given up and as i was about to fall asleep i lifted up to the ceiling and then i got excited and fell back in my body lol.

I've also experienced DMT which is mind blowing in itself if you ever try it, i felt the vibration of everything in my chest and felt a familiar connection like being a child again, i could perceive every hair on my friends head as if i was focusing on each one individually and every possible angle each hair could possibly take at the same time. It's literally dipping into another dimension.

I had some interesting and eventful times in my late teenage years when my father did some work and became good friends with a millionaire founder/ceo

ride in private jets, citations and learjets, travel around the country and Europe a few times, kick back on the beach on Hilton Island amongst millionaires and supermodels, meet a few singers/celebrities, invited to some cool parties (most memorable of which was hanging out with KC & The Sunshine Band after concert), play with cool expensive "toys", etc.

Short lived, but fun while it lasted.

When I was 5 we lived in NY. We came home to Ireland in September to visit my dad's mother grandmother in Belfast. She ran a pub. My brothers and I were sitting at the bar watching TV and we witnessed two IRA men come in and shoot two men dead. It happened so fast. My momma claimed it was a game and swiped the 3 of us upstairs. We understood it was a game until we were old enough to know what really happened.

Nah nothing mind blowing bout me... I know of someone who was declared dead, but then came "back to life". That person is not a user on here though.
