As a baby I was (almost) blind. All I could see when I was (very) young were shapes and I could tell light from dark. I've been wearing glasses since I was 5 months old and had a surgery when I was 2 or 3 y.o.

@SW-User wow, I am glad you are okay now, hopefully :)
You have wonderful eyes
Allelse · 36-40, M
@SW-User For me it was partial deafness.
meemo70 · 51-55, M
@SW-User aww! Sorry to hear that.
Glad you’re ok now
@SW-User OMG, you should drink a glass of carrot juice everyday for a yr. You'll notice the improvement in your eyesight after a few months itself. Try it.

@SW-User Thank you!😊 I don't even remember it anyway. I remember the surgery, I remember making out shapes and humans and colours when I was not wearing my glasses but "seeing" only light and dark is something my doctor has told me, I was too young to remember.
SW-User
@SW-User you are a wonder
SW-User
@Vivaci Exactly!! I had to eat as much fish and carrot as possible.😅 I'm 26 now and hardly ever need my glasses.🙂
SW-User
@meemo70 Thank you.😊
SW-User
@Allelse Really?! And what happened?
Allelse · 36-40, M
@SW-User I had my adenoids out and then they put grommets in my ears, and then I spent alot of time going to speech therapy and shit.
SW-User
@Allelse Awwww and how are you doing now?
Allelse · 36-40, M
@SW-User I'm doing great. I've got the best hearing in the world now and I talk perfectly fine, I used to leave all the ends off of my words back when my hearing was fucked.
SW-User
@SW-User That must've been hard for your parents to go through. No parents want to see their child being physically incomplete
SW-User
@Allelse I'm happy to know you're doing so much better now!🤗
SW-User
@SW-User That's exactly what my mum says. She told me she had a break down when they found out...I honestly don't remember any of these. All I remember is wearing glasses and not being able to see without them. Which seemed absolutely normal to me.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@SW-User I'm happy you can see too! 🤗 Heh! Just imagine if we were still busted. You near blind, me near deaf, trying to walk each other around a crowded city.
@SW-User Wow, that's awesome... 🤗 I've a childhood friend who had damaged optic nerves when she was born. But carrot juice is all she had and when she went to college at 16,she had no specks... 😍
SW-User
@Vivaci Thank you!🤗 I had damaged optic nerves too...and so much more.😥 So following a certain diet was not enough but was necessary. Glad to know about your friend!!🤗
SW-User
@Allelse Hahahaha dammit! We could have tried that!
Allelse · 36-40, M
@SW-User Have someone stand nearby and count the minutes before we go stumbling into traffic hahaha!
SW-User
@Allelse You wouldn't be able to hear him! I would but even if I told you you wouldn't hear me either! And I wouldn't be able to see where we're going anyway!😣
Allelse · 36-40, M
@SW-User Hahahaha! Then splat!
SW-User
@SW-User The innocence you had as a child is fucking cute!!! 😣
SW-User
@SW-User 😳 Thank youuuu!
SW-User
@SW-User ❤❤❤🤗
