@SW-User Damn that's gansta. lol
SW-User
@SW-User Omg! I barely drove a car at 16 😂 That's amazing!!!!! Do you still fly them nowadays?
SW-User
@5thApprentice Hehe thanks!
SW-User
@SW-User Yeah ironically i had to ride my bicycle 56km to the airport every weekend from when i started learning at 14 because i couldn't get my drivers license until 18. I used to sleep in a mouse-infested hangar with the planes on a pile of old parachutes and did odd jobs to pay for my tuition. I quit school for two years to get a job in a factory to help pay for it. But no, i don't fly anymore. It got a lot more expensive so i had to stop.
SW-User
@SW-User is that you?
SW-User
@SW-User Lol yes!
SW-User
@SW-User damn dude 😍
SW-User
@SW-User It's a bad pic of me but you get the idea i guess. I flew around, catching pockets of rising air called thermals and then just kept flying or else landed in a farmer paddock and had to radio in for a crop duster plane to tow me out. I learned way more than high school 😂
SW-User
@SW-User that's so cool.
No I love that pic. You look like the boy I dated in HS.

SW-User
@SW-User Cool! i wish you were the girl i dated in high school. Changing the subject completely, did you know that glider pilots stay up longer? 😄
SW-User
@SW-User 😜 I do now baby
SW-User
@SW-User 😂
SW-User
@SW-User I wish I could just fly a plane instead of learning to drive 😆 By the way, it seems like you had a pretty rough childhood :/
SW-User
@SW-User Yeah flying is way more fun than driving... no traffic jams lol! Well actually my home life sucked and i was bullied at school which is why i quit, ran away from home, got a job and figured i couldn't afford a place of my own so i'd spend all the money on flying lessons and just live wherever.
@SW-User 👍
SW-User
@SW-User I kinda am interested in living like that. I'm sure I would learn a lot more about life that way. Growing up fast is always alluring to me
You remind me of Frank Abagnale somehow lol

@SW-User I was the same, and still are i guess. While i like a nice home and material possessions, i can easily ditch them for a faster life with more experiences. 9 - 5 bores me to death. I need adventure.
SW-User
@SW-User Lol Teach me how to run away from home
SW-User
@SW-User Ok so you gotta be safe about it but, when i did, i got a train and went as far as i could afford, then i slept on a beach for about a week and hung out in an alley behind a restaurant on closing and got food scraps that way. I tried to dress up as much as i could to look presentable and got to know the chef and asked him if i he needed a good dishwasher. He said no to start with but after about a week, he told me his dishwasher hadn't arrived so i got the job. And so things got better from there. There's probably easier ways to get started these days but that's what worked for me.
SW-User
@SW-User Wow you weren't afraid to be homeless, were you?
SW-User
@SW-User Lol i wasn't afraid of anything back then... i was totally fearless... wish i was like that now :o
SW-User
@SW-User We're always bolder and more fearless when we're younger because we haven't been through a lot to be cautious of anything, so it doesn't take a lot of thoughts for us to jump right into doing something new 😆
SW-User
@SW-User Yeah you're right, i think what changed me was when i got married i realised i couldn't take risks anymore, but i've kind of gone back to my old ways.. well a bit 😏
SW-User
@SW-User Lol You should've married someone who would take risks by your side 😏
SW-User
@SW-User I should have... i would be like Ethan Hunt from mission impossible... now where can i find someone who's like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider 🤔
