I think Star Wars for me, although I did have the privilege of seeing all three Lord of the Rings films in theaters when they came out.

I've read the Rings books several times but the movies sucked. And the first Star Wars movie was okay, the rest sucked. I haven't been to a movie theatre since I saw the first Rings movie about 20 years ago. Too expensive, too loud, and too stupid.

@hunkalove The Hobbit was very disappointing. I don't think I even bothered seeing the direct sequels to those.

@Rose0415 I recommend the Cartoon movie version of the hobbit. It is much better.

The Lord of The Rings. I've read the books. I've listened to the BBC radio show. I've seen the movies.

I love Star Wars but LOTR is home.

@Rose0415 yes.. i didnt care for the first one but that 2nd one clearks 2 is an AWSOME movie till near the end it gets nasty and u might want to do what i did and turn it off once it gets to the nasty parts LOL but the 2nd one they are working in a fast food restraunt and they sell onion rings well this one kid named Alias grabs an onion ring and says "one ring to rule them all" like on lord of the rings and if you remember Randall Graves from the first one well that sets randall OFF and its OVER for ALias LOOOOOL hahaha 🤣
